What equipment and software do you have?
- I draw on a Wacom tablet and use MSI laptop. Currently I work in Photoshop for illustration, TV Paint for animation, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder for editing and video encoding.Do you draw only as a hobby or you have a job?
- At the moment I'm striving to work in the industry as a background artist. However, I'll still continue to draw and animate as a hobby.What brushes do you use?
- I use standard Photoshop brushes, as well as some free ones made by artists from ArtStation (I made links below).
How much time do you spend on illustration and animation?
- It all depends on my workload and motivation. Drawings with simple shadows without complex backgrounds can take less than a week to complete. Fully rendered art with complex backgrounds can take weeks or even a month. Short icon animations can take some weeks, long animations can take several months.Do you have an art education?
- I graduated from art school in middle school, and I'm currently studying media design at the institute. I'm largely self-taught when it comes to digital art.Any advice for begginer artists?
- I don’t consider myself competent to give advice because I’m far from a professional. I'll just say the basics: study the theory, try different approaches to drawing, absorb as much information as you can, build connections if you want to break into the industry.
Terms of Servise
GENERAL INFORMATIONYou can use your commission for any non-commercial purposes. I prohibit the use of my drawings for AI training, as NFTs, and you are also required to comply with copyright laws (I'll also be very grateful if you credit me as the author when further publishing anywhere). I have the right to publish commission art in my portfolio and social medias, create exclusive content in the form of a WIP process on Boosty, as well as speedpaint.I often draw nature backgrounds, cartoon animals, anthropomorphic animals, people and mythical creatures, but I also don't mind trying something new. However, I won't draw real people from photos, NSFW, excessive fetishes, extreme violence, characters from media, anything extremely detailed and complex, political, religious and similar topics. I may refuse an order for other reasons, but still don't be afraid to ask.Don't post our private dialogue, as well as the work process, anywhere. Try, if possible, not to ignore my messages, remind me of things that I may forget. But remember that I may also be busy, be patient.Please, don't change your character's design or idea while I work, but minor changes and details are acceptable.ABOUT PAYMENTPayment is made through Boosty goals (temporarily accepts only cards) or Hipolink (accepts both PayPal and cards). I'll send you the necessary guides, after that tell me which payment method you will use. If you have a russian card with rubels, then payment can be made directly to my "Мир" Почта Банк card, please note that an additional fee may be charged.Payment is made in full after approval of the sketch within three days. If necessary, the period can be extended to a week.Unfortunately, I don't make refunds, so please think twice before taking a commission. I apologize for the inconvenience.If you suddenly have problems with the translation, be sure to tell me, and we'll try to find a way out of this situation.ABOUT THE WORK PROCESSJust before contacting me, be sure to check the art status. If it is open, you can send me a message on one of the selected social medias from the main page of this site. You can also contact me on Discord (tayplets), my private messages are open. Please send me a friend request only if your private messages are closed.In your message, you must indicate the type of art, attach a character's reference and give a brief description. You can also provide additional references and explanations if you wish. If I agree to accept this commission, I'll name the price and your position in the waiting queue.As soon as I complete previous commissions, I'll begin creating sketches and concepts for your commission, after which I'll notify you (I'll send all WIPs and the final drawing via a link to Google Disc file for better quality transfer). Once you have approved the best sketch, you must make a payment.The following WIPs, which I'll send to you for making possible changes, are: a lineart or a cleal sketch (if the final work is lineless), the main color and, if working with a complex render, another WIP after the main color. If you want to see more of the process then just let me know.Finally, I'll send you the final art. After your response, I'll post it on my social medias.
Price List
SIMPLE ART
A drawing of a character with simple shadows and a simple background. It can be a portrait (up to half the body) or a fullbody.Starting price for a SIMPLE PORTRAIT is $25. Adding one more character + $20. Complex character design + $5.Starting price for SIMPLE FULLBODY is $35. Adding one more character + $30. Complex character design + $10.
PORTRAIT
A drawing of a character (up to half body) with a full render, the background can be either simple or complex.Starting price $45. Adding one more character + $40. Complex character design + $5. Complex background from + $10 to + $25 (high price usually for complex cities, interiors rich in details, etc.)
SCENE
A drawing of a character's fullbody fully rendered with a complex background.The starting price, depending on the complexity of the background, is from $70 to $100 (a high price is usually for complex cities, interiors rich in details, etc.). Adding one more character + $50. Complex character design + $10.
SKETCH
A fullbody drawing of a character in a sketch style with flat color. It is possible to create a sketch sheet with a character in several poses or with different emotions in the form of portraits.Starting price is $12 for a FULLBODY, starting price is $15 for a SKETCH SHEET WITH EMOTIONS (minimum 3 portraits). Adding one more fullbody + $11, portrait +$5. Complex character design in portrait + $3 (+ $9 min because of min 3 portraits), in fullbody + $6.
